Finishes
Four finishes.
Every lever, hinge, stop, pull and cabinet handle is made in the same four finishes, so a project can be specified from the front door through to the joinery without a break in the language. Choose the finish first and the schedule follows.
The default
Smooth Black
A deep matte black with a low sheen and an even, close grained surface. It reads as a line rather than an object on a door, which is why it sits so easily in contemporary work.
The most specified finish in the range, and the safest choice when the rest of the schedule is still moving.
| Suits | Contemporary interiors, new builds, dark or high contrast joinery |
| Pairs with | Matte black tapware, white and off white joinery, dark stained timber |
| Coverage | Full range, door and cabinet |

The warm neutral
Smooth Nickel
A soft satin tone with warmth through it, closer to a brushed metal than a polished one. It holds fingerprints far less than chrome and sits quietly against natural materials.
The finish to reach for when a project needs metal without brightness.
| Suits | Transitional and coastal interiors, kitchens, family homes |
| Pairs with | Brushed nickel and warm tapware, oak and natural timber, stone benchtops |
| Coverage | Full range, door and cabinet |
| Products | 14 |
The warm depth
Smooth Bronze
A warm mid brown with genuine depth rather than a flat coating. It shifts under different light, which gives a door a sense of weight that black and grey finishes do not.
Best used with conviction across a whole project rather than as an accent.
| Suits | Heritage and character homes, warm and layered interiors, feature entries |
| Pairs with | Brass and aged metals, walnut and rich timber, terracotta and earth tones |
| Coverage | Door hardware and selected cabinet |
| Products | 7 |
The softer black
Smooth Graphite
A cool mid grey with a low sheen. It does what black does without the hard edge, so hardware reads as part of the joinery rather than punctuation on it.
Often the right answer when black tests too heavy on a lighter scheme.
| Suits | Minimal and considered interiors, grey and concrete schemes, apartments |
| Pairs with | Gunmetal tapware, concrete and microcement, pale and mid grey joinery |
| Coverage | Full range, door and cabinet |
| Products | 13 |
Also available
Beyond the four.
Selected hinges are available in stainless steel for wet areas, laundries and coastal builds, where corrosion resistance matters more than matching the rest of the schedule.
The Linear cabinet handle is also produced in Rustic Copper, a naturally variable finish with a warm patina, suited to farmhouse, heritage and character joinery.
Finish care
Keeping a finish right.
Clean with a soft damp cloth and dry off. Nothing more is needed in normal use.
Do not use abrasive pads, scouring creams, bleach or solvent based cleaners. These will mark the surface permanently and are not covered by warranty.
In coastal locations, wipe hardware down regularly to remove salt deposits, and specify stainless steel where a product is exposed to salt air.
Samples
See the finishes in person.
Screens do not show a finish accurately. Our distributors hold display boards with all four finishes side by side, so you can compare them under the light of the project before specifying.
