Shipping policy
Shipping and Delivery
HAVOLKA does not sell direct to customers and does not ship to end customers. All HAVOLKA hardware is supplied through appointed distributors and stockists, who are responsible for freight, delivery and delivery timeframes.
This policy explains how stock and supply work, so you can plan a project with confidence.
Where your order ships from
HAVOLKA stock is warehoused in Perth, Western Australia. When a distributor or stockist sells a HAVOLKA product, it is dispatched from that warehouse or from the distributor's own stock holding.
Because the range is held locally rather than in transit from overseas, orders are generally filled from stock rather than waiting on an international shipment.
Delivery timeframes
Delivery timeframes, freight charges and delivery methods are set by the distributor or stockist you purchase from. Confirm these with them at the time of quoting or ordering.
All timeframes quoted anywhere are estimates. Freight, weather, carrier delays and stock movement can affect them. We recommend not booking installers, carpenters or other trades until the full order has been received and checked.
Planning a project
For project work, speak to your distributor early. They can advise current stock positions, arrange staged deliveries to suit the build programme, and flag any item that may need to be brought in.
If we have prepared a door schedule for your project, take it to your distributor. It lists every item and quantity, which makes stock checking and staged delivery straightforward.
Backorders and lead times
Where an item is not in stock, your distributor will advise the expected lead time before you order. Lead times on items being manufactured or shipped in are estimates only and may change.
If an order contains both in stock and backordered items, your distributor will confirm whether the order ships complete or in parts.
Receiving and checking a delivery
Check your delivery on arrival, before installation and before booking trades.
Confirm quantities and finishes against your order or schedule, and inspect for transit damage. Report any shortage, incorrect item or damage to the distributor or stockist you purchased from as soon as possible. Keep the packaging until the matter is resolved.
Once hardware has been installed it is significantly harder to resolve a supply issue, so it is worth checking the full delivery first.
Freight damage
Freight damage is handled by the distributor or stockist who arranged the delivery, as they hold the carrier relationship and the consignment details. Contact them first. We will support them in resolving the matter where required.
Interstate and international
Distributors ship within their own territory and may ship interstate. If you are outside Western Australia, contact us and we will direct you to the closest supply option.
We do not currently supply direct to customers outside Australia. For international project enquiries, contact sales@havolka.com.
Samples and display boards
Finish samples and display boards are supplied through distributors for showroom display and for finishes boards. To view the full range and compare finishes in person, visit a distributor showroom. See the where to buy page for locations.
